Making my way through the films available at TIFF, I came across Hors La Loi. An complex look at 3 Algerian brothers who were effected by being displaced in post WWII Paris. Each frere takes a different approach to how the french colonialism has changed their lives. In short, this movie is being touted as the cross-Atlantic kin of Once Upon A Time In America.
