IN LOVING MEMORY

Lincoln 'Sugar' Minott is a rudie in every way. A trailblazer in the Reggae world that pioneered the voicing over existing versions in the studio. Thanks to him, the dancehall sound takes a myriad of musical approaches to each riddim. As in the video above he was a key figure in Reggae's expansion into the UK & Europe. The reports had spread late July 10th that he had passed in Jamaica after going to the hospital for recurring chest pains. It would be only right that we share a post for the legend. In the words of one of his prodigy's Garnett Silk "Say a prayer and chant a psalm." -Safari-
