THE LEGEND

"Bronson" (2008), screenplay by Brock Norman Brock and Nicolas Winding Refn. In 1974, Michael Peterson got 7 years in jail for robbing a post office. What ends up happening is Michael serves 34 years, 30 in solitary confinement, develops an alter ego named Charles Bronson and eventually is released due to, get this, bad behavior (the jail had no way of controlling him). I kid you not, true story. This film dives into the mind set of Mr. Bronson and analyzes his fascination with celebrity culture. Some would say the Clockwork Orange of our day. Haven't peeped it yet, but it comes highly recommended. -Dread Perry-
