NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER
Rincon Bates House/Studio, Washington, DC. Designed by Chris DeHenzel and Hans Kuhn for Studio 27 Architecture. The original structure dates back to 1906, as the front exterior subtly suggests, but once inside the old is transformed into the new and remixed into modern urban design. I'm a big fan of maintaining the exterior, gutting the interior, and blending old with the new. Check out the staircase...dope right? Sophisticated, clean, proper. -Dread Perry-
