RUDE BOY SHUFFLIN

"Rude Boy Shufflin" by Israel Vibration. Dedicated to the violence in Jamaica, and all other West Indian nations affected by corrupt governments and drug kingpins. Just cool. Israel Vibration formed in the late 1970's and went on to become one of Kingston's most successful exports. Get this, the trio initially met as children at a rehabilitation center, all three suffer from polio...talk about destiny. The group consists of Lascelle "Wiss" Bulgin, Cecil "Skeleton" Spence, and Albert "Apple Gabriel" Craig. What makes this group so memorable is the harmonies they create, in my opinion...uncontested. Aside from their earlier stuff (I highly suggest peeping "Unconquered People"), this is one of my favorite tracks. -Dread Perry-
"Stiffnecked fools, you deny me / Promote the worst and slacky-tidey / Now the youth them viciously / Got to face your reality."
