"Verde Que Te Quero Rosa" (1977) by Cartola. Classic Brazilian cover art. Safari put me on to this image awhile back, recently stumbled across it again, brilliant. If this image doesn't echo rudie, I don't know what does. Pictured is Angenor de Oliveira, known as Cartola (which translates to "top hat" in Portuguese). He was a singer, composer and poet considered to be a leading figure in the development of samba. Get this, he released his first record in 1974 at the age of 66. Remember kids, it's never too late.
