"Empty LA" photo series. Matt Logue is a Los Angeles based artist, photographer and animator. He worked for Tippett Studio's in New Zealand on the Lord Of The Ring's saga as a visual effects artist for three years, and after returning to LA decided to pursue a personal project of his own. The result was the "Empty La" series which removes man from one of the most populated cities in the world. One is used to seeing this sort of imagery in a film, where the context numbs the overall effect of such visuals, but a photo series with no other motive than the creation of images for their own sake is something entirely different. If mankind doesn't shape up its act, this series might be a glimpse into our future. Eerie. -Dread Perry-
