THE JAM

"Town Called Malice" by The Jam, off the 1982 album The Gift. I guess you could say The Jam were punks dressed as Mods, and some would say responsible for the Mod revival in the late 1970's. They were influenced by sixties rock, rhythm and blues, punk and ska, and reflected these influences in their style and sound. The band was formed in the mid 70's and consisted of Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton, Steve Brookes, and Rick Buckler on drums, although Brookes had left the band prior to this songs release. Just another example of past meets present and inspires the future. The Jam. Shout out to Mr. Silver for the heads up. -Dread Perry-
